This is a movie review on “Rudy”, (the movie we watched in PE) that I posted to rotten tomatoes.
“Rudy”, a movie with believe-in-yourself and don’t quit messages. A movie where a young boy defies the odds. A movie so sexist and stereotypical it makes me want to puke.
Where to begin? “Rudy” is a movie about white, catholic, sexist men playing football. Sounds great already, right? One of the best parts is the dark outlook on the friendly tutor, D-Bob. For anyone who hasn’t seen the movie, D-Bob is a Notre Dame graduate, and acting as a TA for one of Rudy’s teachers in Holy Cross.
